🏃‍♀️✨ 45th Annual Britt Hobo Days Glow 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

Light up the night during the 125th National Hobo Convention at the 45th Annual Britt Hobo Days Glow 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk! 🌟👟

Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to take part in this colorful nighttime event on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026. Participants may choose between the timed 5K race or the family-friendly 1-mile fun run and walk.

📍 Location: Gazebo behind Britt City Hall, 170 Main Ave. South, Britt
🗓️ Date: Friday, Aug. 14, 2026
⏰ Packet Pickup: Begins at 8 p.m.
📝 Day-of Registration Deadline: 8:30 p.m.
🏁 Race Start: 8:45 p.m.

The race will begin and end at the gazebo behind Britt City Hall. Parking may be limited because of other Hobo Days activities on Main Street, so participants are encouraged to plan ahead. Restrooms will be available at the event site.

💵 Registration

The registration fee is $30.

👕 Shirts, Medals & Timing

👕 All preregistered participants will receive an event shirt. Those registering after July 26, 2026, are not guaranteed a shirt.

🏅 Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group.

⏱️ Chip timing for the 5K will be provided by Wayzata Timing and is sponsored by the Sanger Legacy Fund.

💙 Supporting Britt Youth Activities

The Britt Hobo Run is sponsored by Britt Parks and Recreation. All proceeds will help support Britt Parks and Rec youth sports and activities.

☔ Weather Policy

The race will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Because this is a fundraising event, refunds will not be offered.
