4.  Coronavirus has made its way into the rural communities around the country.  As of Monday, more than two-thirds of the rural counties in the U.S. had at least one confirmed case.

5. Dr. Anthony Fauci says the White House coronavirus task force is considering giving the green light to a select group of people to go back to work:  People who’ve been exposed to the virus without showing symptoms.

The plan could take effect at the end of the month, when the White House’s 30-day social distancing guidelines are over.  Nothing’s certain yet . . . but it’s a possible step toward SOME return to normal life.

6.  Only 21.6% of the hotel rooms in the U.S. were occupied last week.  That’s a 68.5% drop from the same week last year.  Oahu, Hawaii had the lowest hotel occupancy rate . . . only 7%.

7. Almost one-third of people who rent apartments in the U.S. didn’t pay their rent last week. And while many places have temporary bans on evictions, some landlords are still filing eviction papers and preparing to evict people once they are allowed.
